Large bowl with flowing turquoise glaze

A wide, substantial bowl made for shared use and repeated return.

This bowl is handmade from stoneware and finished with a glaze that is applied generously and allowed to move in the kiln. During firing, the glaze responds to heat and gravity, creating soft runs, pooled areas, and gentle transitions that give each bowl its own surface pattern.

The scale makes it well suited for fruit, salads, or serving at the center of the table, but it also works as a stand-alone object when not in use. Its weight keeps it grounded, while the flowing glaze keeps it visually light.

Each bowl is produced in small batches. Variations in glaze movement and tone are normal and part of what makes each piece distinct.

A familiar form, given time and space to resolve.

This bowl is Ø 25cm and 9cm high (this is a heavy bowl! Measuring almost 2 kg!)

Dishwasher safe on a gentle cycle. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the glaze over time. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
